a celebration

Today is my mother's 50th birthday. So, tonight my mom, Jim, my grandparents and I will be going out to dinner to a nicer resteraunt called Anthony's. None of us have ever been there, so we thought now is a good time to try.
Right now my car is at the mechanics--nothing major, just a few belts and a hose that needed replacing, and I knew about it before I bought the car. Also the brakes have been sort of squeeking lately, but the mechanic that did an overall inspection on the car before I bought it said that it had 60 percent left on all the brakes. So, I asked if they knew anyway to quiet the brakes down. Hopefully the work being done on the car will not cost more than $250 that was the estimate I was told. Also the car and I are being put on my mom's auto insurance today, so I can finally drive the car legally. Whitworth here I come! To see some friends who are already out there.
Not a whole lot of other news right now, just winding down these last 5 days in the Food bank. Then a short break before I start up at school and start a new job.
Last night I played Ultimate Fribee, and it was a blast.
