7 weeks....

only 7 weeks left until school starts up again! not that I dislike summer, but it will be nice to be back at school, one main reason being that I won't be living at home. I doubt I will ever live at home again, unless I cannot get a job to pay rent or something of that nature.
this week has been consistently in the 90's. pretty warm.
I have not gotten my usual 8 hrs of sleep per night this whole week. partially due to the heat, and partially due to staying out late with friends, and then waking up early for work. the weekend will be nice. no alarms.
last night as I was driving home at 1am, I saw in two different areas of town, road crews painting lines on the asphault. wierd hours to work, but probably the best due to lack of traffic at those hours. driving that late is wierd, no other traffic on the road, so one must be especially careful to stay close to the speed limit, for cops will target the few lone cars that they see. don't worry, I haven't gotten any tickets, in fact I have made a point to be careful about going the speed limit, mainly because I cannot afford a ticket, and because I realized that nothing is that important that I should be speeding to.
