heat-fun-and work....

Hello all,
The six weeks of summer have officially begun for Spokane, with highs SOARING up into the mid to upper nineties-and our ac at work is broken. Of course it picks the hottest week so far to break.
Yesterday after work, I went out and bought a nice new tennis raquet for a great price. I am excited to get out and play with it, tonight I will go up and just practice by myself. Also last night, some good friends called me up, and we played some ultimate frisbee in the park...at 10 pm. yes last night was definately a 51/2 hour of sleep night, but right now I am doing alright, the heat, sweat, and phone here at work are keeping me awake just fine.
I am reading Les Miserables-and getting through it quickly, it is due back the third of August, and I still have 350 pages to read. So I am reading up a storm, and work has been pretty laid back lately so I have read about 40 pages a day at work. I really enjoy the book, and would recommend it to anyone up to the challenge of reading a 1300 page book.
This up coming weekend I am planning on going to the lake, and just laying out in the sun, swimming, and boating, maybe even some kayaking. We shall see.
Currently I am reading Romans, and I really like it, it has been a long time since I have read it, and this last semester I learned a bit more about Paul, it seems I am learning more and more each day. I am by no means perfect, nor will I ever be, but that is no excuse to not try.
Overall, life right now is good, I am getting in shape riding in this heat, and I getting some time to see friends, so all in all good. I am excited, only about 7 more weeks until school starts again for me, it will be good to see everyone, and to get out of my mom's house. It can be a bit frustrating at times to live there. That is all.
