Well, my time here in Kenya is quickly drawing to a close. Today is the last full day of camp, and next week is my last week in Kenya. This past week has been pretty good, but I had 12-15 year olds, and so it was a bit of a challenge to get them to listen to me. The weather here continues to be cooler, and wet, much like western washington in March.
This next week will be pretty fun. We are having a week of fun for the staff. On Sunday, we will leave for Uganda, and will spend a few days there, one of which will be rafting some of the Nile river. I have been assured that we will be thrown out of the boat a lot, but luckily the Nile is the largest water carrying river in the world, so we don't need to worry about hitting the bottom. After that we will drive back to Kenya, and will spend three days on safari in Massai Mara game park. Then I will be flying home. Pretty crazy to think I have only a week and a half left in Kenya! I will be sad to leave all of my new friends, but excited to come home to the warm weather, and to move in to my new house with some of my friends. Life has been good here, but I am ready to come home.
Peace and grace of Christ to you all.
